Your Wedding.
Filmed by Friends.
A camcorder ships to you a few days before the wedding. The people you love do the filming. We turn it into something worth watching for the rest of your life.
This page has everything you need. Read through, sign where needed, and go enjoy getting married.
Six steps.
Start to screen.
No crew. No strangers with lights in the corner. Just the people you care about, filming the moments that matter.

Made with love.
Built with craft.
Wedding Take is a family business, started by Benny and Taylor Gattegno. A Gold Coast boy and a Dallas girl who met somewhere in the middle, in Los Angeles.
Benny brings 13 years of commercial production experience, working with brands like Netflix, Nike, and Samsung. Taylor brings the warmth, the heart, and the belief that the people who love you most are the ones who can tell your story best.
They came home to build something they couldn't find anywhere else. A wedding film that feels like it was made by people who care.
A couple of things
before the day.
This is a private arrangement between us. Two short notices below. Please read both and add your name to confirm you're across them. Nothing formal, just clear.
This is private.
Let's keep it that way.
This page and its contents are shared with you privately as part of a pre-launch arrangement with Wedding Take. It is not published, not indexed, and not public.
By accessing this page you agree not to share the link, the content, or details of this arrangement with anyone outside of your immediate wedding party without our written permission.
This includes the pricing, process, design assets, or any materials contained on or linked from this page.
We're easy to reach if you have any questions about what's covered here.
Your film,
our portfolio.
As part of this arrangement, your wedding film is being produced at no cost to you in exchange for the right to use footage and stills from your day on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
We will never share anything that feels private or unflattering. You will see the film before anything is used publicly, and you can flag moments you'd prefer we keep between us.
We will always credit your first names if we share anything publicly, unless you ask us not to. We will never share your surname, venue name, or personal details without asking first.
By signing below you confirm you are comfortable with this arrangement and have the authority to agree on behalf of yourself and your partner.
Everything you need
to know in 60 seconds.
The camera arrives fully charged and ready to go. Here is everything you need to know before you press record.
What to film
and how to film it.
You don't need to be a filmmaker. Just be present, pay attention, and point the camera at the moments that feel real. These are the things that make the edit.
- The room as people arrive. Wide, chaotic, real
- Getting dressed. Film the helpers as much as the person
- The first look in the mirror. Get the reaction, not just the outfit
- Quiet moments. Anyone sitting alone with their thoughts
- Gifts or letters being opened. The reaction is everything
- People helping each other. Buttoning, fixing, calming nerves
- Guests arriving. The greetings, the ones already emotional
- The walk down the aisle. Film the faces watching, not just the walk
- The couple seeing each other. That first moment
- The vows. Get close, hold steady, record the full thing
- Reactions in the crowd. Tears, smiles, hands over mouths
- Walking back. The joy leaving is different from the nerves arriving
- Guests congratulating the couple. The hugs, the handshakes
- The couple alone. Film from a distance, don't interrupt
- Kids at the wedding. They always make the edit
- Old friends finding each other. The unorganised moments
- The venue between moments. Wide, unhurried
- Speeches. Get close to the speaker, film whoever is most emotional
- The first dance. Steady, close enough to see faces
- The parent dances. Often the most emotional of the day
- The dance floor at midnight. Get in there
- Table conversations. Sit down and just film for a few minutes
- The older guests. Film them dancing, talking, watching
- The very end. Don't stop filming because it feels late
- Pass the camcorder around and ask guests to leave a short message for the couple. The unscripted ones are always the best.
- Hand it to a groomsman and make him the unofficial kiss cam. Works every time.
- Put the camera on a silver platter and have a waiter or a younger cousin carry it table to table. People love being surprised by it.
- Flip it into selfie mode and pass it around the dance floor. Nobody poses. Everyone's already having the best night.
- Set up the camcorder on a tripod and leave it in the corner with a sign that says "say something". Guests will find it and use it all night.
- Put a backdrop behind it — florals, fairy lights, a chalkboard with their names. Makes it a moment people seek out.
Send it back.
We handle the rest.
As soon as your camcorder arrives, our editing team gets straight to work on your footage. Within 2 to 3 weeks we'll have everything organised and ready for your review. Then in the following 4 to 7 weeks we'll craft your complete wedding film, transforming those moments into something you'll still be watching years from now. One round of revisions is included. Then it's yours.
